SENIOR SIX CANDIDATE PASSES ON DURING EXAMINATIONS MUBENDE

Students and the administration of kasenyi senior secondary school in
mubende municipality are in deep grief having lost one of their
colleagues, a senior six candidate who was still writing her A level
papers but faced an abrupt death on Tuesday evening.
Rachael Kebigombe, a daughter to a one Emily Rwakashura, a resident of
Kasenyi Caltex, in Mubende Municipal council passed on yesterday
evening at the Mubende Regional Referral Hospital after hours of
suffering from stomachache, diarrhea and severe vomiting. According to
Mrs. Emily Rwakashura, the mother of the deceased said that Rachael
woke up as usual and went for revision at the school premises but
after she came came back to the matron reporting stomachache, diarrhea
and severe vomiting. She was rushed to the referral hospital and given
medical attention but couldn’t fight for her life and conceded to
death at home at about 4pm in the evening.
According to the headmaster, Kasenyi senior secondary school, Mr.
Kannonya Edward, the deceased who was offering History, Literature,
Divinity and Computer was reported by her colleagues to him about her
situation mostly suffering from severe vomiting and diarrhea. She was
immediately rushed to the hospital for medical attention but was later
pronounced dead at 4pm Tuesday evening and burial is on Friday at her
ancestral home in Mityana district.
The atmosphere at school has been so calm throughout the day though
other candidates were on going with the writing of their exams. Her
fellow students talked about Rachael as a cooperative, lovely
interactive and a silent literature girl a loss which cannot be
covered easily.
